Borflon ® FSA is anionic fluorosurfactant with good solubility in water and polar solvents. Borflon ® FSA can dramatically reduce the surface tension of aqueous solutions even at very low concentrations, making it a powerful wetting agent. Additionally, Borflon ® FSA perfluoropolyether surfactant exhibits stable performance in various chemical environments and has certain foaming ability in aqueous and acidic systems. When mixed with other surfactants, it shows remarkable synergistic effects. Due to its low Pka value, it can be applied to water-based systems in all pH ranges. However, due to the presence of carboxylic acid groups in the product, Borflon ® FSA are not suitable for use in hard water systems containing multivalent ions.

Boron ® FSA has excellent emulsification performance and can replace PFOA in the emulsion polymerization of fluoropolymer PTFE/FEP/PVDF/FKM, etc. It has solved the persistent ecological environmental damage and public health problems caused by PFOA for more than 60 years, and has passed 91 kinds of PFAS tests.
